The original "bull in red" came to me in a dream awhile back and was so distinct that it led me to sketch, then paint this compelling piece. There was actually two pieces in my dream thou the second piece was not defined, but later came the brown bull as a partner piece. Although bulls are male there is a very soft quality to the bull in red and hence both pieces seemed to work together well.
I have tried other directional views of the bull and other animals but as of yet feel that nothing has the same effect of tranquilness mixed with strength as this, and it has also become one of my top selling shirts for both male and female
