I have been drawn to ravens and foxes and found that
I am not the only one.
I found one of Aesop's Greek Fables 'The Fox and the Raven'
Where the moral of the story is to be wary of who you give
your trust.
As the tail is told, the raven falls to the flattery of the
hungry fox, who begs the raven to sing whilst with a beak
full of cheese.
After much sweet worship, the raven proudly breaks into melody,
allowing for the cheese to fall towards the waiting prey of
the fox whilst the raven is then left hungry.
This portrays the fox as being on the unfavorable side of
the story, but little is said about the weakness of the raven
to succumb to its own self-worth.
Stop wasting your time on ego, as that was the one weakness
to which the raven had control over, and this trait has been
the demise of many a person who has been put on a pedestal.
